Ingredients
• 1/2 cup - Buckwheat flour / kuttu atta/ rajgiri atta
• 1/4 cup - Water Chestnut flour/ singhara atta
• 1 tsp - green cardamom, crushed
• 1.5 cup – powdered jaggery or gud
• 1/2 cup - clarified Butter /desi Ghee
• 1/4 cup - chopped Pistachios
• 4 cups - water
How to Make Kuttu Halwa (Buckwheat Flour Sweet Pudding)
• Sieve both flour together.
• Heat clarified butter in a wok, add sieved flour .
• Roast it on low heat with continuous stirring till color changes to dark brown.
• Add crushed cardamoms and stir it.
• Add the powdered jaggery and mix well.
• Now add water and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes till the water evaporates.
• Remove it from heat and add chopped pistachios.
• Serve chilled.
